The Oshawa Art Association (OAA), a non-profit organization, was established in 1967 to promote and encourage artistic development in the community. Monthly meetings are held the second Wednesday of every month except July. You do not have to be a member to attend, and meetings feature guest speakers, demonstrations and art information.

Meetings start at 7:00 p.m. and are held at the Arts Resource Centre (behind Oshawa City Hall), 25 Queen St., Oshawa  (Highway 2 and Centre intersections

Should you decide to become a member of the OAA, the membership fee is $40.00, which is due in January of each year.  Members receive a monthly newsletter and a discount on the annual Juried Show registration, and are eligible to enter the Fall Art Festival and the Spring Art Festival.

The Oshawa Art Association hosts three shows each year.  The Spring Studio Tour in April, the Juried Show at the Robert McLaughlin Gallery in April, and the Fall Art Festival in October.

For more information about the OAA, visit their website. You can also contact us for details about the OAA, as Anne Labelle-Johnson is a Past President of the Association.
